How does the programming of a functional AI intelligent agent sound for 24 hours?
The first programming competition for artificial intelligence - AIBG Belgrade – December, 2018.
Organized by the Association of European Students of Technology, BEST Belgrade. For the first time this year with media coverage thru portal za video nadzor AIBG is organizing artificial intelligence competition (Artificial Intelligence BattleGround).
The competition is intended for all students of technical-technological and natural-mathematical faculties of Serbia, with the aim to complete and demonstrate their knowledge in the field of artificial intelligence. Recognizing the importance and usefulness of this competition, BEST Belgrade decided to bring this competition, which has been held in Zagreb for four years in a row, also brought to Serbia.
The task of the competition is that for 20 hours each team creates its intelligent agent based on the given game. After the expiration of the programming time, four groups are randomly formed, followed by the group phase of the competition. The best teams after each other's bouts go to the next stage of the competition. The knock-out phase begins with the remaining four best teams, which in the further course of the competition are fighting for the first place. For the teams that won the first three places, valuable cash prizes were provided.

During the competition, students will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the representatives of the companies "Telekom Srbija" and "NCR", who are the golden sponsors of this year's AIBG.

I think this is a great opportunity for all our students to demonstrate their knowledge, creativity and team spirit through one exceptionally stormy. We hope for a great response of students, because this project provides a great opportunity to creatively express their knowledge so far and, in addition, even learn something new. The goal of the competition is not to win but to participate, because I think that everyone who takes part in it gets a lot of things "- says chief organizer of the competition.
For the competition, which will take place on December 7th and 8th in the Scientific and Technology Park, 12 teams of 3 to 4 members will be selected, as well as individuals from which the teams will be formed later on.
